FORAGING WORKSHOP
GAJA PEGAN NAHTIGAL (SI)

Gaja Pegan Nahtigal is a forager and transdisciplinary designer from Ljubljana, Slovenia. She draws her inspiration from the natural world, its growth and decay. Through her practice, she strives to help bridge the gap between human-made and nature-crafted ecosystems, embracing their intertwined, complex and unpolished beauty. For the past three years, she has been organising and facilitating foraging workshops with special focus on spontaneous urban ecosystems and ethnobotany.

In this edition of Niansa she will take you on a foraging walk to reconnect with your inner ✨fairy✨. We will learn about wild plants, their use in cooking and medicine. She is especially excited to share fantastical stories about plants that have shaped our culture, homes, clothes, songs, beliefs and everything we are.
