CP-AK (Christian Kopač) was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. His Slovenian heritage brought him to Ljubljana during his student years, where he was able to express his enthusiasm for a wide-ranging selection of music by working as a music editor at Europe’s oldest active independent radio station, Radio Študent. After moving to Berlin in 2015 he became immersed in the city’s rich electronic scene, eventually resulting in the formation of Imaginary Radio Stations with fellow expats Evano and 198319831983. Continuing his work at Radio Študent, he began DJing at events and experimenting with music production at the IRS studio in Greenhouse Berlin. An avid coder and technology aficionado, his interests often lead him to experimental practices at the intersection of music, culture and technology.
