198319831983 (Jakob Bekš) was born in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Initially turned on to music via playing guitar and drums in punk bands he too gazed into the mirrorball during his late teens and developed a passion for electronic music. Enchanted by Detroit techno and electro around the turn of the milllenium, he soon embraced influences from all across the electronic music spectrum, leading to the formation of various alter-egos to accommodate different output. Collecting and playing records since 2001, he has since become a DJ / producer with over 20 years of experience with numerous acclaimed DJ and live performances under his belt.
