3 x FUNDRAISERS FOR GAZA

FB EVENT

This early autumn, we are welcoming you back to our beloved Krater land / @krater.collective for the new season of our 𓇗 Exploratorium 𓆸 listening series.  ⚘𐂷⋆⚘ You’ll find us at our usual deep-listening zone, right in front of the beautiful plant sanctuary curated by @abandoned.plants ⚘𐂷⚘

◥̆̈ ◤

⚘𐂷⚘LOCATION & GATHERING INFO⚘𐂷⚘

Before we share the lineups, we must state the necessary truth: As we all gather in Krater to listen peacefully, the apartheid state of Israel is deliberately enacting a policy of collective starvation against the Palestinian people in Gaza. This deliberate strategy of genocide—broadcast live to the world 24/7 for more than 700 days now is further enabled by the unwavering military and diplomatic support of complicit Western allies who choose complicity over conscience, alongside multinational corporations that profit from it.

In this context, and in solidarity with all peoples facing oppression worldwide—from ongoing genocides in Palestine, Sudan, and Congo, to Russia's brutal invasion of Ukraine, the persecution of the Rohingya, Uyghurs, and Tigrayans and other oppresed communities around the globe, we recognize that such systematic violence challenges the very limits of language. In the face of this, art must become a universal language of resistance. Therefore, we refuse to remain silent, and we call on everyone working in art and culture to break this silence—because silence = complicity.

We strongly believe that creative spaces must also be spaces of resistance. By gathering to listen, we build collective strength and channel our resources directly to those upholding life. We use the privilege of our gathering to support those whose very existence is endangered by systematic erasure executed by colonial, repressive regimes.

Therefore, 100% of entry donations from all 3 Exploratorium events will be sent to GAZA SOUP KITCHEN, a Palestinian-led grassroots initiative working to build food sovereignty and feed their community in the face of Israel's engineered famine and genocide towards the Palestinian people.
By showing up in Krater, you make a direct difference. Your contribution is not just for sound; it is for sustenance and collective resistance.

We dedicate all the sounds from our open sky this autumn to those living under siege. ✊️

𓇢𓇢𓆸 𝓝𝓲𝓐𝓝𝓢𝓐 𝓔𝔁𝓹𝓵𝓸𝓻𝓪𝓽𝓸𝓻𝓲𝓾𝓶 𓇗 is a series of daylight, all-ages, and all-species gatherings dedicated to the art of deep, collective listening and sensorial contemplation. We foster interspecies connection and sound ecology as a core practice in our activities. In a time of pervasive sensory noise and cultural erasure, we create a sanctuary for attuning to the subtleties of the more-than-human world. Our act is grounded in exploring the symbiosis between soundscape and landscape, using site-specific performances, electro-acoustic improvisation, and auditory travelogues to investigate how human creativity can respectfully intertwine with natural microcosms. Our gatherings are an invitation to immerse in the sonic environment completely, engaging with listening as a form of collective care to cultivate a heightened collective, ecological and sociopolitical consciousness.
