Veronika alias Raketa is Slovenian DJ and producer of UK bass genres with a ghettotech twist. She delivers her eclectic sets in an energetic manner, infusing flavors of footwork, grime, ghettotech, jungle, and more.
In over 200 gigs in last 7 years, she’s been a part of prominent events across Slovenia (MENT, Keep in mind festival, Butik festival), as well as Croatia (Bass Couture presents Raketa, Heisse Scheisse) and a recent tour on India’s Bass Camp festival. Last set of the tour was later released as her Mixmag debut.
Besides that, you can hear Raketa’s guestmixes on airwaves across Europe (Mode radio in London, Maxi radio in Berlin) along with monthly radio residency with Black Teeth Records in Belgium. She’s also curating Vibe check, a bi-weekly show about club culture on local Radio Študent.
Her grime and ghetto infused music production has been released with local labels SNIF, Nimaš izbire and Nature Scene Music, the freshest tune Miris even got a spot on Emotional Voyage Records’ compilation in Berlin.
