INK!
Having explored the vast lands of the Hardcore Continuum since the late 90ies, Ink! is interested in the connections between signal and noise, and the nuances in-between. Feeding from Techno, Rave, Bass and Dub, and often using more than just two turntables and a mixer, Ink! stirs up sets that are invitations to loose yourself in a sea of sound.
IOKOI
Mara Miccichè aka IOKOI is a composer and sound-artist based in Zurich. She is co-founder of the music label -OUS and the multi-disciplinary collective MADAM.
Her debut album «Liquefy» (2016) interweaved physical and virtual spaces by negotiating the various meanings of the self in the digital age. The album was a play with drifting instances of identity and presented live as an interactive AV performance with video artist ARIA. Several songs from «Liquefy» were used for the Chilean series «La Jaurìa» in 2020. IOKOI’s follow up «Tales of Another Felt Sense of Self» is being released on -OUS in spring 2021 as a multi-disciplinary work mixing music and video with olfactory and visual arts.

LUA JUNGCK

Lua Jungck (she/her) lives and works as an artist in Zurich. With a background as a jazz pianist, Lua has been focusing on her work as an electronic and improvising musician for several years. Two constantly intertwining ways of working are at the center of her practice - solo as a producer and collaborative in improvisation. With her solo music she focuses on harsh sounds and deconstructed rhythms, trying to grasp the abstraction, lonelyness and brutality of late capitalism in 2024 and shape it into her own soundtrack.

Born as a masked, shapeshifting experiment, Slon released on –OUS his debut EP «Majestic Mind Safari Show» featured by The Wire Magazine, Clot Magazine, Coeval Magazine, Rumore (among others) and defined as a collection of hymns for solitary dances; a protean, hyperactive transmission of avant-pop, IDM, and outsider music. The layering work now expands to include pure sound design and field recording interventions, forming hyperrealistic soundscapes. The once clumsy and green faced mutaforma has now morphed to a familiar alien and the sound now belongs to an environment that is both very intimate and extremely remote. A feeling that echoes the alienation of being in a place, in a moment where everything coexists, both outside and inside Slon. It’s a picture of that feeling of being constantly immersed in environmental, social and political catastrophes while playing the game of overexposure of emotions. Marco Mercuzio Peron is co-founder of the curatorial platform MADAM, where he creates collaborative happenings, durational performances, documentary films, and original soundtracks and sound design for artists including 1UP Berlin and Mosa as well as art institutions like Fondazione Prada.
