Lara Matea IvanČiČ
MOVEMENT INTERVENTIONS
Lara Matea Ivančič is a dancer, performer, and choreographer currently based in Ljubljana. She trained at the Ljubljana Conservatory of Music and Ballet and later at the Iwanson International School of Contemporary Dance. At the Ljubljana Dance Theatre, she presented her first solo piece, XXL. For two seasons, she worked as a dancer with the Basque company Dantzaz, where she created her second original project, the traveling duet Melting Time. With this project, she returned to Slovenia and received her first award for performance in Biarritz. She regularly collaborates with young and established choreographers on highly diverse projects. In her recent work, she has primarily focused on movement improvisation and documentary theatre.
