CIRKULACIJA 2 PRESENTS

Cirkulacija 2 is an artists' initiative started in 2007, organized into association for interdisciplinary arts, selfproduction and circulation of contemporary art. Their enormous contribution to experimental music and art scene is crucial for development of alterantive and intersectional art practices. On Niansa they will present artists and projects that have been developing in their underground space in the recent years.

RAZVRAT
LIVE PERFORMANCE

Razvrat is duo incarnation of  improvisational music platform Zvokopleskarstvo operating in the studio of FV Založba in Ljubljana.

Andrej Bizjak (tritar, electronics) and Lan Štokelj Wu (computer, electronics).

Two people. Three sources of sound signals. Tritar, a modified slide bass guitar. Sound synthesis on a computer. And a piezo microphone attached to the most acoustically interesting object in the room.
The signals then travel through analog and digital effects to an array of speakers. Along the way, they split, merge, interfere, and feedback into a final sonic image that floats between ambient drones and noise on the threshold of pain.

TATIANA KOCUMUr
MOVEMENT INTERVENTION

Tatiana Kocmur (BA, 1992) is a visual artist and contemporary art producer. Her artistic practice is centered on the phenomenon of “living crossbreed images,” through which she transcends established social norms. The androgynous figure of her flesh challenges conventional notions of the body and identity. Through suggestive animalistic postures, she provokes the gaze, giving rise to new, crossbreed beings, while still lifes of eroticism and sensuality blur the boundaries between spectacle and ritual.

ANTEZ SITE-SPECIFIC live performance

Musician, composer and sound traveler.

The exploration of vibratory phenomena is at the heart of my sound work. By exploring their means of production through different devices. By engaging the body in a sound action that impels the vibration of material. Stimulated by the study of vibratory interactions between sound materials ; experimentation with frequency phasing through the relationships that can be established between pairs of objects of different shapes and materials. Their spatial projection, path and rebound.
For several years now, I've been developing a technique combining circumambulation around a horizontal drum. With a whole orchestra of heterogeneous sound objects brought into contact on the drum's membrane.
